SB Position Comparison Report

What does this report show me?

The Position Comparison report allows users to compare staffing positions active on a specific date with current personnel expenses in the budget scenario.

Purpose

• To compare staffing positions active on a specific date with personnel expenses planned in a scenario.

• Identify differences in FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) allocations between what is actually staffed and what is planned, by position, job, and location.

• Help district and school leaders spot overstaffing, understaffing, or mismatches between current and proposed staffing levels, aiding better decision-making and resource allocation.

Key Features

1. Side-by-Side Comparison

   • Shows both current (staffing) and planned (scenario) FTE for each position, job, and location.

   • Highlights the difference between current and planned FTE values.

2. Detailed Table Output

   • Columns include:

     • Position Code

     • Job Code

     • Job Name

     • Location Code

     • Current FTE

     • Planned FTE

     • FTE Difference (planned minus current)

3. Filtering & Sorting

   • Users can filter by position code, job code, job name, location, and FTE values.

   • Sorting is supported for all columns.

Access Position Comparison Report in Budget:

1. In Allovue, select Budget.

2. From the All Budgets or Single Budgets tab, select Reporting.

3. Select Posiiton Comparsion Report.

4. Select Export Data.

5. A copy of the report will be emailed to the email address associated with your account. In the email, select the report name to download a copy to your device.
