App Center (Instructors)

Schoology’s App Center provides instructors with access to software developed by other companies directly within Schoology.

Install apps

You can install apps directly into a course or group, or onto your Home Page.

  1. Click the App Center icon, and then select App Center.

  2. Select the app to install. Select the app’s name to review an in-depth overview.

  3. Click Install App.

  4. Select each course or group of the desired installation. Some apps only provide the option of the Homepage.

  5. Optionally, after selecting a course, make the app available only to the Course Admin.

  6. Click Install.

Some apps require a subscription. They may require you to pay by use, by user, or by having a school-wide subscription. Contact your Support Contact with any questions.

Uninstall apps

Quick uninstall

  1. Move the pointer over the app name in your course or group profile.

  2. Click the X for the app.

Uninstall from App Center

  1. Click the App Center icon, and then select App Center.

  2. Locate the app and click the title.

  3. Click Install.

  4. Clear all the courses and groups in which you've installed the app.

  5. Click Install.
