Program Name

Enter the special program name. This can be any name that the District chooses and does not have to match one of the Program Types in table DC096 of the TSDS Data Standards.

Each LEA is required to have a program for 504, At Risk, Career and Tech, Dyslexia, Economic Disadvantaged, Gifted and Talented, Immigrant, Intervention, LEP, Migrant, Pre-K, PRS, RTF, Special Education, and Title I

Notes:

  • For High School Equivalency Programs (HSEP), the Program Name must start with "HSEP".

  • The Dyslexia program is created by PowerSchool.

TSDS PEIMS (State) Program Type

For each of the required state special programs listed above, this field must be completed to link the local Program Name with the associated state program. Once a state program type has been linked to a local program, it cannot be used again.

For High School Equivalency Programs (HSEP), leave the TSDS PEIMS (State) Program Type set to blank.

IMPORTANT: Once data is entered and used for state reporting, this program should never be deleted.

A Program Name and Program Type are required for any program reported to PEIMS.
