Introduction

The Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) encompasses all data requested and received by TEA about public education, including student demographic and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information This report is used to verify and correct common errors in student PEIMS data. 

Student Selection Criteria

  • Students enrolled in non-reportable schools that are NOT flagged as the Charter Waitlist or Child Find Placeholder campuses are now excluded from all error checks.

  • Students who are enrolled in the non-reportable Charter Waitlist or Child Find placeholder campuses are included in these two categories only and excluded from all others:

    • Student Demographics

    • Student FTE

Field

Description

Select Schools*

Choose which school(s) to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

At the school level:

  • The currently selected school is the default.

At the district level:

  • Select Multiple Schools – Use the Ctrl or SHIFT key on your keyboard to click each school for which you want to run the extract.

  • All Schools (default) – The report includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet the selection criteria.

Current Selection Students

Choose one of the following options:

  • The Selected Students Only

  • All students

School Year

Choose the school year for which to run this report.

Error Check Categories

Select the error check categories from the list. 

  • Student Demographics

  • Student PEIMS

  • Student Enrollment

  • Student ADA

  • Student FTE

Report Sort

Choose one of the following options:

  • Sort the report by student, then the error list.

  • Sort the report by error list, then student. 

Select the Output Type

Select the report output type:

CSV or PDF
